Our aims

Choose Your Accountant has a simple aim: To allow individuals and businesses to find the accountants they deserve. Because finding an accountant is important for so many of us - it shouldn't be a hit and miss affair.

Remember we need your help in this process: when you choose an accountant from this site be sure to fill out our (ultra brief) feedback form. If they've saved you tax, if they took your calls at the weekend, if they've been helpful: let the world know! If they haven't: ditto!

How the site came about

It was early in the new year of 2006. Not only was my tax return due (groan) but I was bored of endless directories and mindless listings. There had to be a better way of finding someone to help.

Wasn't the internet meant to be all about connectivity? Surely I should just be able to say what I need - and then accountants could come to me. Meanwhile wouldn't it be great to see ebay style ratings from their previous clients?

Fast forward to 2007 and the site went live. We signed up 100 accountants in our first 3 months and have been rapidly growing ever since. We have helped hundreds of clients find the accountants they need - with more ads for accountants being placed every month.

About me

As for me, my name is Christopher Mahon. I am not an accountant. But I am a real person - not just a website! So if you have any questions just give me a shout!
