I have been advised that I can claim allowances for tools and clothes as well as other items even though i am PAYE
also I have now started getting my own work and would like to get advice on my accounts and tax etc. as this would make me PAYE and sub-contractor at the same time.
i may wish to set up a limited company for my own work as well as still being employed but dont know how to go about it and deal with the tax and accounts

I work for a large limited company as an electrical site engineer.
